The holiday Spirit
The holidays are almost here, and our kids—together with Teacher Alejandra—filled our Kids Club with warm cheer. Using recycled materials, they created a beautiful Christmas tree by hand. Along the way, Teacher Alejandra gently taught patience, organization, and love.
Our talented sculptors
Our kids explored clay and strengthened their skills. With patience and care, they shaped fun figures and felt proud of their progress. They’re always excited to learn with Teacher Alejandra.
The power of music…
Music filled our Kids Club with joy. This week, guided by Maestro Aquiles, the children discovered how rhythm and melodies inspire, bring us together, and stay with us every day.
We began the session by working on breathing. The teacher highlighted the importance of calm breathing and relaxing the vocal cords through physical exercises. We discovered how body and mind work together to reach musical balance. The children also had the chance to discover their voices and, with support from their tutors and Maestro Aquiles, performed the song “Los Reyes Magos.”
Let´s meet choir Director-Aquilles Morales
Born in Mexico City, Maestro Aquiles Morales began his studies at the National School of Music in 1996. He later perfected his technique at the École Normale de Musique de Paris “Alfred Cortot,” guided by Maestro Dušan Tadić.
After years of study, he returned to Mexico in 2005 to continue advanced training with maestro Néstor Castañeda. Since then, he has performed as a concert pianist in Mexico, Italy, France, and the United States.
He independently produced three albums and, in 2008, began a new chapter as a choir director. His mentors include Alberto Balzanelli (Argentina), Leo Kraemer (Germany), Konrad von Abel (Germany), a student of Sergiu Celibidache, and Simon Carrington (England).
Today, he shares his knowledge to spark a love of music in children.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Maestro Aquiles for his dedication and support.
English in colors
Teacher Mayra guided the kids in English through colors and playful games. Coloring a rainbow helped them name each color and spot matching objects.
Chat with me
Teacher Abraham asked the kids easy questions in English—and was thrilled to see how many understood. This activity also helped him engage with our kids on a more personal level.
Parents Meetings
This week, Teacher Abraham met with many parents to share our Kids Club project and future plans for their children. They were excited about what’s ahead and eager to be involved.
