After the ceiling collapse, which exposed rusted rebar in the main entry, the Kids Club remodel is now underway—being completed in stages as funding allows.

Stage 1 focuses on the entry and bathrooms, with essential behind-the-scenes work like structural reinforcement, updated electrical and plumbing, and new drainage systems to prevent flooding. It’s not always visible, but it’s critical to creating a safe, lasting space for the kids.

After the floor was laid, the piping from the main entrance on Langosta to the courtyard was installed. Any water will run through the building to the cistern in the courtyard and then be pumped to Langosta.
