The children at the Kids Club had fun reading “La Familia Bula” about a family of insects and all the different personalities and dynamics of the family. They created puppets and acted out the different characteristics of the individuals. It was an interesting exercise learning about interpersonal relationships, family dynamics, and an opportunity for our English-speaking students to practice reading and speaking Spanish.

We began our spring sports unit playing pickle ball and began learning a new song on the ukuleles.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be hosting a gallery/museum exhibit here at the “Casa Comunidad” beginning next week.  It is titled ” Heritage Through my Lens” and features photography reflecting the various aspects that make up Mexican Culture and identity.
