This week at the Kids Club the children are getting ready for the upcoming Easter/ Semana Santa holidays by making and decorating papier mache Easter eggs. Painting Easter eggs is not a common custom in Mexico so it is fun for the children to learn about some of the different ways people celebrate the holiday. We are also practicing English learning the days of the week and months. In rhythm and movement the children are learning yoga poses. We finished our “stained glass” project and are decorating the windows at the kids club with our colorful creations. To celebrate the children all passing their swim proficiency we had a fun beach day playing and swimming in the waves.
