The children had a woodworking and carpentry class with volunteers Lisa, Diel, Catherine and Jamie. They are working on making hat/coat racks that they can use or give for gifts. They are really enjoying the jump roping activities with Lilly practicing different routines and “double dutch”. Jump Rope experts Heather and Ty came in to give the kids a workshop. This is an age-old activity that the kids still get excited about.
Mayra had some fun activities around two books they are reading “Fun with Mud” and “Hello, Beach” that involved water balloons to help beat the heat.
Ale started with a new ceramics project and Lilly practiced ukuleles as well this week.
