The children are really enjoying their jump rope activities. We received a generous gift of new high quality jump ropes from a volunteer Tyrome Johnson who has been helping teach them tricks and exercises over the last month. This activity is beautiful in its simplicity as well as the coordination and cardiovascular exercise it provides. It is something they can practice at home with their friends without any supervision.
The older students have been practicing computer skills as well, using the word processor for their writing activities.
On Friday, volunteers Jamie and Kurt returned to continue the carpentry classes. The children are finishing up their clothes/hat racks that they began earlier this month.
