This week we have been focusing on ecology and the environment. The children had a neighborhood and beach cleanup day. They had a lot of fun and it instills pride in beautifying their town. Over 20 bags of refuse were collected or recycled over the week.

We also enjoyed having guest volunteer Linn come in this week to read stories to the children. Thanks Linn for taking time out of your days to spend with us.
In art class we had a chance to practice what we have learned in the ceramics class however this week we had a treat working with modeling clay. The children were excited to have many colors to use rather than the gray clay they have been using for their pots and vases. They had fun creating figures of animals modeled from images.
